1981. I have been trained as an architect but people today basically ask me to help them in coping with their role in the public realm. They can be administrations, companies, NGOs, private citizens. Sometimes architecture&co can be ways for coping.
in 2008 together with 4 partners coming from really different&exotic disciplines we were doubting that our own ones were the best to deal with public issues: so we founded snark – space making in which we do what I mentioned above. we offer services but we are entrepreneurs as well.
In 2010 snark was doubting to be the right subject to deal with the range of public issues so we acted twofold: on the one hand, we founded re-habitat in bologna (with many other doubting ones) a subject active in urban regeneration; then, we joined the team of ginestra fabbrica della conoscenza a cultural centre focused on the development of social collaboration.
In 2012 doubting that the tools we’ve been applying until now were the most appropriate ones we started sophie (we’re not alone in it..): surprise.
What I do like at most is to collaborate. I consider my work as my contribution as an activist. Sometimes I teach, most of them I learn.
